Artist Notes:
This is actually my first time participating in the community. I had to re-join livejournal for one of my big bangs and decided to investigate what kind of SPN communities were on here. :> I did the coloring with watercolor paints but I did have to adjust the color levels in my digital art program (Manga Studio 5) as I'm sure many of you know how scanners really diminish the color of the pigment. Also, for fun, I applied a free texture to enhance the colors further. The white splatter is done with arcylic paint.
Here's the version without the texture:

Date: 2016-09-20 07:20 pm (UTC)I only got into watercolor a couple of years ago and despite buying better products, I still default back to my cheap 36 color pan set that I got from Michael's. xD I actually started the base layers with my Derwent Inktense pencils but they weren't popping enough (I just purchased them the other week so I need to experiment with them more before I get confident in using them on their own) so I layered the cheaper paints over it.
