tx-devilorangel.livejournal.comWhile the 'art' piece that I posted for this story 2 days ago is the image that first came to mind when I read the story it was from the front view, when I couldn't get it to look how I wanted I scrapped it and decided to come at it from another angle.
So I did a side view - Dean's hand pulling Sam's gloved one away from the punching bag. I completed it but was disappointed in myself for not trying harder to do the original idea; so I went back to it but ended up with the back view (see original art post).
Long story short, I'm going to post the alternate view piece here now that I've added the title to it.

Summary:
He's suffered loss, more than most. Not just from the wild fire five years ago that torched his land, his house, his family, but a deep-seeded death of the soul. Something's gotta give. And it does.
Even though I'd told myself that I didn't have time to make another piece right now because I have other commitments that should have priority, I couldn't resist going for a speed date to make art for this. This story is beautiful; It's heartbreak and sadness but it's also hopeful and poetic.
