TIME FOR A QUICKY
Get ready to stretch your artmuscles, because the

quicky_bang is open! Art can be anything from a storybanner to a scene illustration and all media are welcome, from pencil sketches to digital designs. To avoid procrastination you have to set yourself a deadline within a month after claiming, other than that there are no rules or check ins. Art for this round can be posted until the end of April!AUTHORS!
Have you written a short SPN/RPF/GEN fic that you'd love to have fanart for? This is the place to submit it! It doesn't matter if the fic is old or new, as long as it is finished, has less than 4000 words and no accompanying art yet, you can offer it up. Comment with your name, contact email and a link to your fic. Include a short snippet or summary to entice an artist and describe visuals to seduce them:)

If you see a fic you would love to make art for, REPLY to the author to claim it. Then CONTACT the author privately to set up a timeline (so you have a date to work towards and they can cheer you on:) Make sure you share your expectations: What rating did you have in mind? Do you welcome input or rather keep the art a surprise until posting? Communicate just this once or keep in touch during the process; it's up to you.
After your definite claim you have a month to create Have fun!
Finished? Present your artwork in this community! (You don't have to wait a month if your muse works faster; you can post whenever you are done:) If you link to your personal artpost, be sure to at least include a story banner or teaser image here; this is an art-community, so we want to SEE at least a bit of it:) Whether you link to your artpost in your own journal or directly to the author's story is up to you. We do encourage you to promote each other's work!
You can claim one fic at the time but when you've finished your art, you are more than welcome to grab another one (and another one and another one...).
This is mostly a self regulating challenge; I'm not gonna be monstermod breathing down your neck to check up on you. Please keep your claimed author up to date if there is any change in your chosen timeline.
