TAKE ME! Submission post for Quickies Jan-Feb 2018

A NEW YEAR, A NEW ROUND OF QUICKIES!
Artists, get ready, because from today until the end of January, authors can offer up a story they would love to have illustrated! Art can be anything from a banner to a scene illustration and we welcome all media, from pencil sketches to digital designs. To avoid procrastination we have one rule: you have to set yourself a deadline within a month after claiming. Art can be posted until February 28th.

AUTHORS!
This is the place to submit SHORT stories that are already written! It doesn't matter if the fic is old or new, as long as it has less than 4000 words and there is no accompanying art, you can offer it up. Comment with your name, contact email and a link to your fic. Include a short snippet or summary to entice an artist! Describe visuals to seduce them:)

To give all authors equal space, you can only submit up to three fics here; make a new comment for each story, please!


ARTISTS
WANT TO GET CREATIVE? Check out the stories on offer in the comments below!
If you see a fic you would love to make art for, reply to the author to put a reservation on it. CONTACT the author privately to set up a timeline, so they can cheer you on and make sure you share your expectations! What rating did you have in mind? Do you welcome input or rather keep the art a surprise until posting? After your definite claim you have a month to create (or less if your muse is up for it;). Have fun!

Done? Post in the community with a story banner or a teaser image; this is an art-community after all, so we want to SEE at least a bit of it:) Whether you link to your artpost in your own journal or directly to the author's story is up to you. We do encourage you to promote each other's work!

Visuals: Injured Winchesters, Sam giving his brother CPR. If I were an artist, the scene I'd illustrate is unconscious Dean in the recovery position with Sam lying facing him, his hand on Dean's chest so he can feel his heartbeat. But I'm not an artist, so.
