Wahey, another round of the quicky_bang done! A big fandom thank you to everyone who participated, I hope y'all had fun:) You are all rockstars, but I want to give a special shout out to dwimpala21 who did an smashing amount of banging this round. Massive kudos to all the authors that offered up their fanfics, your short stories were an inspiration to all of us:)

What's next...
I definitely plan to run another art challenge this year, but it probably won't be until after the Summer. A few people suggested a Reverse Quicky event; but with this being an artist community and because the actual ReverseBang already is open for short fic authors, I don't see the added value for fandom.

However! I have been brainstorming about offering a space for orphan artworks that were made and published as stand alones or for other events, but that never had a fic attached to it. I was thinking of creating a reverse version of the MatchMaker Challenge, so with blind dates for authors. The artworks wouldn't be published in the community, but rather handed out as a mystery option to authors of short fics who can sign up with their prefered pairings or characters of choice.
I would love to know if artists would be interested in putting those type of artworks up for adoption. (I know I have a few artworks I'd love to see a story for:)

Hmm the reverse matchmaker is an interesting idea! I don't know if i have any artworks suitable but I can certainly have a look if you decide to run it.

Thank you so much for running this challenge!! I know how much work goes into moderating this, being a mod myself, I can relate. So hats off to you for this! It was so much fun!! I loved doing it and it was my first time too!!! looking forward to another round!!
